Preseason games can be hard to find on TV since many are not broadcast by the usual networks, and tonight’s Seahawks vs. Vikings preseason match-up is no different. But we’ve got you covered with local channels for where, when to watch.

NFL preseason football 2018 returns to Minneapolis tonight: It’s Seattle Seahawks vs. Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Week 3 preseason games are typically the last good action starting players get, so tonight’s action in Minnesota is a good final tune-up before teams focus on pairing to the 53-man roster in week 4. Many starting players are expected to play into the same half.

You can get the latest score and stats from the game in the box score provided above and here’s everything you need to know in order to watch the Seahawks-Vikings game:

The Vikings No. 1 struggled to score points in their 14-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in their second preseason game. The No. 1 offense with new quarterback Kirk Cousins was responsible for three points in the game.

Right guard Mike Remmers and right tackle Rashod Hill are expected to play for the first time in the preseason, giving Cousins a chance to work with the majority of the starting offensive line for the first time in the preseason. Vikings running back Dalvin Cook may also see action for the first time in the preseason.

The game is a national broadcast on CBS but will be preempted in several markets outside of Michigan. Greg Gumbel, Trent Green and Bruce Arians will have the game call.

For the Lions, questions still surround the performance of this defensive unit led by former New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia, the now Lions first-year head coach. How quickly they are able to successfully implement his multiple defensive scheme, the quicker they can come to the aid of one of the best passing offenses in the NFL.

Having lost both of their prior exhibitions, the Detroit Lions will head to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday night in their most important game of the preseason. Traditionally, NFL teams will play their starters for as much as a two quarters (one half) in their third preseason contest in preparation for the upcoming regular season.

The third preseason game is the most important of the preseason. The game is better known as the “dress rehearsal” for the regular season, the game in which the expected starters will be on the field for probably the longest stretch of the preseason.

Gruden said the offensive and defensive starters will play at least into the second quarter against the Packers. That means quarterback Derek Carr, running back Marshawn Lynch, wide receivers Amari Cooper and newcomer Jordy Nelson will be on the field at the same time. However, Lynch and backup Doug Martin aren’t going to play very much.

One player who won’t play at all is linebacker Khalil Mack, who has not reported to camp in a contract dispute. Mack’s continuing absence and the lack of progress on contract talks has prompted some teams to start inquiring about the Raiders interest in trading Mack.
